Wet, wetter, wettest?
There are some dry days too

These are the seasons of equatorial Arica, in the rainforest, rain is an essential part of the ecosystem and brings a cooling effect on balmy days. The average annual rainfall ist 1.450-1.1650mm per year.

Variability impacts new leaves, flowering, fruiting of trees, and overall ecology. Big mammals do not migrate, and so they are in the area year-round. For this reason, any time of year is a wonderful time to explore the last jungles of Tarzan. Here is a general guideline based on experience (subject to the whims of Mother Nature)

  • The average annual rainfall is 1,450 - 1,650 mm
  • Would appear to be higher on the escarpment, which clouds from the Atlantic
  • The rains are divided into two seasons-interrupted by two dry seasons or lower
    rainfall periods
  • Rainy seasons are centered on October-November and April-May
  • Driest seasons are January-February and June-September

Temperature

  • Average temperatures: 23 to 25°C
  • Monthly temperature variations: 1 to 2°C
  • Hottest months in Mboko area: March and April
  • Coolest months in Mboko area: July and August
  • Daily variations are more important
  • Savanna: can reach 16°C
  • Forest: never exceed 10°C

One of the least wet , coolest times of the year with occasional gentle rains


The temperature is slightly cooler than July and rainfall remains much the same
